The reorganization of the Lercaro Collection in 2009 coincided with the reopening of the gallery, after a long period of closure, inaugurating a parallel new season of display activity, culminating in the exhibition “In the light of the Cross.” On the occasion of the reopening a project was worked out for enlargement of the collection with covering of the existing courtyard. Currently work of selection and scientific re-examination of the whole artistic corpus is being done with view to a new and definitive layout.
