The action of restructuring for the general reorganization of the museum layout contemplated by the PANSTUDIO project (with the Arrigo and Barnaba Rudi Studio) has only been partially carried out. The work done involved the new vertical connections (staircases and lifts) between the various levels of the building and complete restructuring of the ground floor and the lofts, recovered and widened with a new mezzanine. The planned work also contemplated a new access at the back and external enlargement with a circular link, with full-length windows, to contain the new library.
